I was excited to have my wedding reception there because it was where my husband and I had our first date, and my in-laws know the owner so I expected some great service. Not the case. I requested three tables be reserved for disabled family members and it never happened. When my elderly grandparents arrived they were told to sit upstairs, even though my grandmother is in a wheelchair, and when my aunt made a fuss, they just basically threw a table at them, no chairs for anyone else, just the table.
now im not sure on laws for bars during private events, but I know something is definitaly wrong here: my 20 year old cousin tried to sit in the bar area with her family and was carded, well she was only 20 so they told her to go sit somewhere else, she tried to tell them she was only going to sit for a minute and they threatened to kick her out of the restaurant. Now I have photos of my reception where you can clearly see several underage kids drinking and even one picture where you can see the bartender (who kicked my cousin out of the bar) serving a 16 year old. I specifically told the catering manager that under no circumstances did i want people who are underage to be served, but since my in-laws know the owners i guess they let it slide.
by the time i got to the restaurant for my reception all our guests were already there and sitting down to eat just like we requested, the only problem is, when i went to get something to eat, they were cleaning up all the food and i was told "sorry they had already cleaned everything up" nice....
it was a good place to have an average overly priced meal, but now its just a bad memory
